so..does anyone still read this thing?
I know I have been very neglectful of ye olde blog. And I wish I had some great excuse. Like, maybe, I was on an African safari and was captured by an aborigine named Nyack and forced to wear large bones as earrings and a plate in my lip and talk the click-y language and I barely escaped within an inch of my life.
OR maybe that I was on a peace mission in Bolivia where I was building orphanages and digging wells for the villagers and I just fell so in love with the people and the land and decided to renounce my American ways and live the simple life in a hut.
OR OR maybe the CIA recruited me for a top-secret job and I had to leave in the dead of night without telling my friends or family goodbye and move to a small town in Alaska where I wore lots of fur coats and hunted baby seals as my daily source of nourishment.
Unfortunately, the truth is simply I have become lazy and couldn't think of anything interesting to write. Which is unfortunate, cuz lots of fun things have happened in my life as of late.
-Went on a little trip with Mom, Drew's girlfriend and her mom out to Missouri to watch Drew graduate from Army Combat Engineer training. (this trip was not so much of the "fun", as "makes you really appreciate home and the less-crazy people you normally spend your time with")
-Jason and I spend Easter weekend with his parents in St. George. Went on a shopping trip to Las Vegas where I was introduced to the World of Trader Joes. I may never be the same again. Mostly because they have the birdseed cookies that I love so much and have only been able to find in Germany.
-Spent a fabulous, fun-filled week in Las Vegas with Sam, Amy, and Kelly at WPPI. We had a blast learning and meeting photographers from all over the country. (including [b]ecker, Jesh De Rox, and Jessica Claire. While this may not be significant to many of you, we were quite star-struck. good times!)
-Had a couple FUN bridal sessions with some gorgeous brides. Check out my Photog Blog for updates.
so..all in all its been a fun couple of weeks. Lots of coming and going, lots of long car rides, lots of family and new friends. Now I'm ready to sit back and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. (er..except for the 3 inches of snow we got today. figures.)
