In which I admit that I am a totally craptastic blogger

YOU GUYS! man. I really suck at this.

Truth is, I am always thinking of things to blog. Every time something remotely interesting happens in my life, I think, "wow, I can't wait to blog this!" Obviously from my lack of posting, you can guess how far that idea really goes. In my defense, life has been suuuuuper busy lately. I am now working graveyards at the PD, which automatically requires me to get 9 hours of sleep to feel semi-normal. Factor in wedding season in the ol' photo biz and fire academy 12 hours a week, and dangit if I don't feel just a little ragged.

And so, as my Summer resolution (because New Years is too far away and that would seem really lazy of me to procrastinate a resolution almost 7 months into the future....) I plan on blogging more. Lets say, a goal of 3 times a week.

Wow, I feel better, don't you? Goals are always a way to make you feel better about something you sorta suck at.

Now is the part that I would normally update you on the exciting life that is me and Jas, but...I kinda already did that. Graveyards at the PD, photography and fire class serioulsyv take up 105% of my life right now. Jason did get a new job, though! Actually he got several new jobs, and we are trying to decide the best route to go from here.

Option A: Full time at PG fire dept. Jas applied and is in the testing and interview process. (Can I just say I am so proud of him for passing the physical fitness part of the testing! He had to run a mile and a half in 15 mins, do 35 push ups, 35 sit ups, and bench press at least 75% of his body weight. He has been working really hard lately to get in better shape and has lost of 50 pounds!) Anyway, we won't find out till the beginning of June if he gets hired, so this one is kinda in Limbo for now.

Option 2: (yes, I realize the first option was an "a" and this is a "2". Its my blog and I can be as inconsistent as I want) Medical Security officer with Securitas, stationed at Kennecott. This one is a good job, and it just 'fits' him. One con is the commute to Kennecott and our current gas pricing situation. One pro is if he gets hired at PG fire, he can keep this job and the hours work together in perfect harmony. Also after 6 months he would be stationed somewhere else, hopefully a little closer to home, but not guaranteed.

Option C: Medical Responder at Sundance Resort. This job is actually only part time for now. He is training for it this week. He seems to really like it, but who knows if or when it would move into a full-time position. Still, though, could be fun as a part-time gig.

There is also an option of a real-estate company, where he would be upselling real estate programs to people wanting to become realtors. Given our current economic housing situation, I am really iffy about this job, and phone sales make me throw up in my mouth a little. So this one is very 'meh' to me.

So thats it in a nutshell. If you have any pearls of wisdom to guide us through this maze of jobs, please let us know.

I think that he should quit all jobs, and wait around for Strawberry Days, and work the fair circuit. Good idea, no?

The funnel cakes, Aubrey. Let's not forget the funnel cakes.

So, we're fun. You should hang out with us sometime. My Jason sometimes is a mute, but I'm enough fun for the both of us. Not to mention that we're in the market for friends for mysterious reasons that can't be divulged on this blog. I guess you'll have to hang out with us to find out.
